  • Boost the black colour and shine of your horse’s coat
Back to black, this intense black henna shampoo will enhance and deepen any faded and jaded black coat, restoring it to its glorious black gloss. You can use this shampoo for touch ups on rug rubs, greying areas and blemishes. Plantacare and Henna are paired in this all natural, biodegradable shampoo formulated to add shine and to boost the natural colour of your horse’s coat. Each bottle contains enough shampoo for approximately 20 washes.

Plantacare
All of our Natural Shampoos contain Plantacare which is made by linking two plant-based raw materials: fatty alcohol from coconut or palm-kernel oil, and glucose derived from native, unmodified, plant starch-principally corn (maize). Formulated from entirely renewable, vegetable feedstock, the ingredients contain no ethylene oxide or other petrochemicals. Preservative-free, they are supplied at a microbiologically stable pH of 11.5 - 12.5. Also free of nitrogen, they contain no genetically modified (GM) material and cannot contribute to nitrosamine formation. When back in the environment after use they achieve ultimate biodegradability.
Henna
Henna is a flowering plant that is indigenous to the tropical and subtropical areas of Africa, southern Asia and northern Australasia. The Henna plant produces a burgundy dye molecule that bonds particularly well with protein; hence its use as a long-lasting, natural dye. Henna is also an anti-fungal.
